The Institute of Livelihood Research and Training (ILRT) is a praxis institution dedicated to advancing sustainable livelihoods of the poor including women, tribal, small producers, and other vulnerable groups. Established in 2007 to support the development sector professionals for promoting large number of sustainable livelihoods in India & outside. It is an affiliate of Basix Social Enterprise Group (Basix SEG). ILRT blends research, documentation of field practice, capacity building, piloting livelihood innovations, technical assistance to livelihood practitioners and policy advocacy to deliver inclusive, scalable livelihood solutions.
